Hardcover. Zustand: Fine. Szyk, Arthur (illustrator). Limited edition. #46 of 400 numbered copies. 4to, half black leather over blind-stamped charcoal gray cloth in matching cloth-covered slipcase. A fine bright copy with associated newsletter from The Arthur Szyk Society laid in. As new at publication price. An excellent overview of Szyk's career, profusely illustrated in b&w and full color, with all of his most important pieces. Including, of course, his scathing anti-fascist and anti-Nazi illustrations which first appeared in the 1940s on the covers and inside various major magazines, including Colliers. Also his fine water color, miniaturist illustrations (he usually worked at reproduction size) for Chaucer and other illustrated books.
