NOTE: There is a light spot on the spine where it appears a library Dewey label might have been removed, however, there are no other library indicia either in or on the book, no library markings anywhere. Bound in sturdy, heavy-duty cloth-covered boards. Book is well-used. Cloth binding worn at the corners and the spine ends, with some slight tearing and fraying to cloth at the top of the spine. Cloth binding is hand-soiled from much reading, and the cloth is darkened from age. Spine is very darkened from age and exposure to light; the lettering on the spine is no longer visible. That said, internally the book is in Very Good condition. All pages and illustration plates are present and well-attached. There is a slight roll to the spine (cocked), but the book remains very firm and tight in its binding, no pages are loose, torn, folded, or missing. The hinges are sound and undamaged inside and out, the corners, though worn, are unbumped. All pages are clean and stain free, and all text and illustrations remain sharp and legible. There is no writing, underlining, highlighting, or other such markings in the book. This is a very readable, usable book, would make a great reading or reference copy.
