Original blue cloth binding with black embossing on front board, and black text on spine. No dust jacket. Edges are lightly frayed and front hinge is split at pastedown, exposing mesh. Stitching is intact but one photo page is loose. No marginalia. Illustrated with a number of stills and scenes from the motion picture, including frontispiece and rear fly and pastedown. This is a novelization of the 1927 Academy Award-winning film Wings, starring Clara Bow, Charles "Buddy" Rogers, and Richard Arlen. The film was groundbreaking for its synchronized soundtrack and for its war scenes, many of the aerial. Hardcover, acceptable condition. 249 pages, 12mo.
