Offered is a first edition, first printing this publisher of "John Woolman's 1772 'Conversations on the True Harmony of Mankind and How It May Be Promoted'" edited and introduced by Sterling Olmsted and published in 1987 by The Wider Quaker Fellowship, a program of the Friends World Committee for Consultation, Section of the Americas, out of Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. A stapled pamphlet measuring 6" by 9" and containing 20 pages including front and rear covers. The pamphlet contains John Woolman's "The Substance of some conversation between a laboring man and a man rich in money" and "The Substance of some conversation between a thrifty Landholder, and a Laboring man." Stamp of "Mt. Toby Monthly Meeting of Friends" to front cover, as well as hand-written "Friends Service & Social Concerns"; to the inside rear cover is a library filing number and two small date stamps where the pamphlet was checked out.
