Cornett; also includes several drawn maps, green cloth with gilt lettering at spine, light general wear only, very minor wear at spine ends, overall very clean and bright, inside and out, with no markings. This is the very scarce original edition. PLEASE NOTE: the 1976 reprint edition, not dated as such, carries the original 1953 copyright date and is frequently confused with the first edition. However, it was issued with a dust jacket, and the notice at front that it was reprinted for the Bicentennial, a point obviously not noted in the present original edition.
