Softcover. Zustand: Near Fine. Small quarto, measuring 7" x 9". Cord-tied flexible leatherette boards. Contains 60 gelatin silver photographs, mostly one to a page, and most in a slightly larger format probably averaging about 5" x 3.5". Owner name inside front cover, condition overall is fine. Many of the images are beautifully hand-tinted, and virtually all very well-captioned in white album ink. Images depict the family and gardens of Hattie Campbell Johnson of East Milton, almost all taken by her (with her initials by most of the images). Dates range from 1930 to 1939, approximately the first half of the volume seems concentrated on Johnson's family, the second is more skewed to her garden and Garden Club activities. Painstakingly curated and composed, far superior to most albums of this type.
