Buch Erstausgabe
Hardcover. Zustand: Very Good. 1st Edition. pp: xv [1]1-533. Grey printed cloth boards, no dust jacket. A general history of the C.E.F. serving overseas during the First World War. The text contains brief accounts of the activities of many units of the Canadian Army, both combat and support troops. In addition, there are many photographs (some in sepia), maps, including some folding, and statistical tables. The book is a most complete account of the functions of the Canadian Corps during the years of the First World War. And, most likely, it is the only source of information on the myriad number of smaller, specialized combat and service units. Very good with moderate wear, soiling to the boards, and a stain to the bottom edge. Lacks the dust jacket.
