It is in this context that the Indian society of Agricultural biochemists and C.S. Azad University of Agriculture and Technology Kanpur organized an International Conference on Post Harvest Technology and Value Addition in Cereals Pulses and Oilseeds in which papers on aspects of the use of biotechnology for value addition in crops advances in post harvest technology and value addition in cereals and pulses and improvement of edible oils and on other related processing technologies were presented and discussed. All the important papers presented during the Conference have been compiled in this publication.
