This second edition is considerably rewritten and has much additional material. No Jacket. Cover: Black cloth with gold lettering to spine and gold embossed Viking ship to front cover; very good condition, only the slightest bumping to corners and edges; no fading. Internally: very clean and tightly bound; gift inscription dated 1963 to front free endpaper; some slight darkening to page edges and small inkblot to page edges 75-141. Many line drawings and black and white photographs. 150pp.
