Hardcover. Zustand: Very Good. 5th or later Edition. *** IF YOU LIVE OUTSIDE THE UK YOU MUST CHOOSE PRIORITY MAIL OR YOUR ORDER WILL BE CANCELLED. THIS IS TO ALLOW AIR MAIL WIH TRACKING AND INSURANCE. *** This is a 36th edition of this UK hardcover published by Richard Holmes Laurie in 1896, revised and edited by William R. Kettle in 1896. The book is in Very Good condition for its age with straight spine, sharp corners and softened spine ends. The gilt lettering and design is intact but the boards are very grubby - see photos. The page edges are toned but the interior text block is clean and still has the supplementary information and order forms for copies, which were bound into the beginning of the book. The book is split into two clear sections: part one "Lighthouses" has 288 pages including index and part two "A list and description of coastal fog signals" has 62 pages including index. Both sections are illustrated throughout in black and white and there is a fold out map with part two. Additionally there is a catalogue of charts and nautical works published by Richard Holmes Laurie. The title page confirms the year of publication as 1896 and the 36th edition.
