Buch
Hardcover. Zustand: Good. No Jacket. Exhibition catalog, measuring about 9-1/2" wide x 11-3/4" high, in 108 pages. One of an edition of 5,700 copies, printed in November, 1967. Provides both a catalog of the exhibition, as well as information that might be of interest and value to a scholar or collector: "List of Exhibitions," from 1877 to 1967; "Homage to Rodin," giving the dates and locations of this exhibition; "Foreword," giving some background about the patron, B. Gerald Cantor, in addition to information about other significant Rodin collections (including that of Samuel Hill, in the very out-of-the-way location of Maryhill, Washington [population 62 in 2019]); an "Introduction," which is mostly a biographical sketch; plus a "Biography," that is a one-page chronology; finally, following the catalog photographs, the "Selective Bibliography" contains 50+ listings for additional study. Condition of this book is good, with no observed markings or damage, except: Top and bottom of spine are torn about 1/2" each, as from removing from a tightly packed shelf, and the volume is heavily sunned, and has rain spots to the front cover. New location: Shelf 1.
