Edges worn and rubbed and covers scuffed; discoloration from rubbing to spine. Leather of rear hinge is cracked, although the cover remains attached. Text clean and plates bright. Good condition overall. A long and glorious record of combat from the 17th century through the Boer War. Includes a letter from J.C. Leask noting the books are currently being bound and he will supply one bound in sheep.
