OCLC calls for 288 pages so this copy is lacking last text leaf along with rear free endpaper and rear board and perhaps a rear flyleaf too. Hardcover: H 18.25cm x L 11….25cm. Contemporary leather front board and spine; stained front board only tenuously attached with worn corners; spine leather chipped at ends but with gilt lettered black title label still present. Probably missing front free endpaper evidenced by small stub at gutter; interlaying front flyleaf still present between fp and title leaf. Horizontal tear to pages 33-34; several leaves with creased corners; varied toning/foxing and some stains. Relatively uncommon Maine imprint and retained for that quality despite condition.
