The Elvis interview runs 4 pages and provides nine b&w photos (unsure if Star Weekly provenance) plus the color cover portrait with smiling fan. There are no glaring defects that we see, leafing cautiously, other than the usual newsprint plagues of toning and unavoidable handling edgewear; all in all exemplar, of which the main section is the most unusual: it consists of some twenty pages of color comic strips (of its 28p.), mostly by US cartoonists, that may exist only in Canada. Find an anticommunist (and racist!) Li'l Abner by the liberal Al Capp (he has Abner swindled by a buck-toothed Japanese promoter), Chester Gould's Dick Tracy (police-friendly of course), Bushmiller's Nancy, Henry by Carl Anderson (most readers will not remember mouthless "Henry"), Mandrake the Magician, on and on with a few strips possibly Canadian-only. Steve Canyon? Terry & the Pirates? anticommunist you bet. - The "Star Weekly Novel" is set in waters off Scotland, foiling a "red" submarine. - The SW Mag has the Elvis story and miscellany. At any rate, hours of fun fun fun await your clumsiness.
