In overall good used condition with minor signs of age, handling and storage - boards rubbed and lower corners worn, gilt titles to spine have faded, leather a little cracked to spine and spine folds; page-block in very good condition. Binding tight and hinges sound - this copy bound with no endpapers. Internally clean, no annotation or inscriptions; red wash to page-ends slightly darkened but text (Latin) and illustrated title page bright and clear throughout. A concise account of the History of Rome, edited from the writings of various Historical Roman writers who were high profile consuls, military leaders and politicians in their time, but also authors and patrons of art and literature; including: Lucii Iulii Flori, C.Vell.
