Hard Cover. Zustand: Good. Zustand des Schutzumschlags: Fair. The jacket is worn and scratched with the top and bottom edges of the spine being chipped and bumped. The back covers top edge is slightly torn with residue from a torn off sticker near the bottom edge. The cover is worn from the top and bottom edges with the corners being chipped and bumped. Spine is bumped from both edges and is also shaken, but binding is secure. Slight smudges on the half-title page, but but not affecting any legibility, otherwise all other pages are clear and bright.

Cloth very slightly pushed in at the base of the spine. Tinge of shadowing to text block edges else neat, clean, bright and tight throughout. In its original laminated, illustrated dust wrapper, a little toned and shelf worn, gently bumped at extreme edges. A very nice copy of an uncommon title. Progress Publishers was a Moscow-based Soviet, and later Russian, publisher founded in 1931.  .
