Aristócrata, millonario y raro de la literatura, escribió obras teatrales y algunos libros de poemas, entre los que destaca "Hai-kais" (Ediciones de la Brújula, París, 1936), el único libro de pre-guerra dedicado exclusivamente al hai-kai, aunque una hai-kai de 4 versos y rima consonante.
