Half leather bound volume with raised bands and gilt lettering to spine, together with diamond design and black title band. Mild rubbing to boards and edges. Ring mark to front board, together with further marks. Mildly tanned endpapers with some small ink markings. Old damp stain to top edge of frontispiece. Frontispiece has tissue guard. Double title page - first has engraving illustration of Windsor from the North West. 'Illustrated by above one thousand engravings'. Page edges marbled. Interior very good indeed. Heavy item - extra postage required. Photos available on request. Would look very handsome on a bookshelf.

Leather spine and corners with bright green boards and marbled page edges. There is very light foxing to end papers and a slight split internally to front boards but externally sound. It has a subtitle From the Earliest Period to The Suppression of the Sepoy Revolt.
