A very neat handwritten inscription on the half-title page reads, "For Bessie, from Aunt Maggie Christmas 1890." Extremities, corners and spine ends lightly rubbed. Binding is tight. Text block is tight and clean throughout. Ffep and one of the color plates have 1 1/2" closed tears. Some soiling on the lower corner of the blank ffep. A beautiful edition. Size: Quarto. Book.
