This text book also proposes one-stage nonlinear filters called Nonlinear noise suppression edge detection scheme for noisy images, and Nonlinear robust edge detector for noisy images without doing any regularization for efficient edge detection from noisy images. The experimental results show the effectiveness of the proposed algorithms with other methods in the literature.
