While the binding is tight and crisp, the spine is uncreased, and the interior is virtually free of markings, there is some rubbing to the edges and the previous owner's name neatly inscribed in black ink to the upper right of the title page. Essay by the author as well as a statement by the artist are in German. CECI CELA arbeitet nach dem gleichen Prinzip und setzt dabei auf einen neuen Trick: einen Spiegel. Vier Messingbuchstaben, CECI" (DIES"), sind an der Wand in der Nähe der Ecke angebracht. Sie spiegeln sich in einem Spiegel an der anderen Wand wider und ergeben CELA" (DAS"). Wie kann CECI" gleichzeitig CELA" sein? Warum spiegelt der Spiegel nicht genau dasselbe Bild wie das Modell?
