Hardcover. Zustand: Good. Zustand des Schutzumschlags: No Jacket As Issued. Pages completely clean and undamaged but the covers have considerable wear, as is par for the course with these older hardcover issues of Art in America. Not much soiling is in evidence but there is much rub wear to edges and seams, down to the boards at corner tips and top and bottom edges of the spine. The front cover is a little bowed. The magazine will be bubble-wrapped and carefully packed in a sturdy box to ensure safe transit. This issue includes: "Editorial: Foundations and the Fine Arts" by W. McNeil Lowry; "Drawings by Andrew Wyeth: The Four Seasons" preface by Lloyd Goodrich; "Sculpture: Projects for Pan Am and Philharmonic" by Richard Lippold; "Sources of Style: The Cubist Contribution" by Sidney Simon; "Photography: Edward Weston in Mexico" by Beaumont Newhall; "Portrait: Leonard Baskin" by Brian O'Doherty; "Design: The Dilemma of Industrial Design" by Garth Huxtable; "Design: Two Finnish Craftsmen"; "Design: Sculptors' Jewelry"; "Design: New Fabrics"; "Design: Stairs"; "Design: Painting with Light"; "The Artist in America: Frontiers of Space" by Dorothy Gees Seckler; "Galleries: The Gallery, the Museum and the Critic" by Cleve Gray; "Emerging Reputations, Cross-Country"; "Books: Summer Seminar" by Francine du Plessix Gray; "The World of Art: Paris Letter: Poulet Picasso" by Alexander Watt; "The World of Art: London Letter: Oxford and Cambridge" by John Russell; "The World of Art: Report from Rome: The American Academy" by Martha Leeb Hadzi; "The World of Art: Middle East, Far East" by Doris Lane Butler; "The World of Art: Pan America: Sculptors in Chile" by Paul Harris; "Special Features: Seattle Fair--Indian Art" by Erna Gunther; "Special Features: Rediscovery: Lost Drawings by Benjamin West" by Helmut Von Erffa; "Special Features: Steig Faces" drawin for Art in America by William Steig; and "Special Features: A New Mural for the UN".
