A small bump to top right hand front. The dust wrapper has a few marks to the front and is a little faded to spine, with very slight scuffing to top and bottom of spine. There is no publishing date inside so presume this is the first Harcourt, Brace & Co edition. Inside front dust jacket, at end of the reviews just above the Harcourt, Brace and Company ( is printed: (A Reynal and Hitchcock book) The price of this book is given as $2 .75 on the front flap which is lower than any other prices given for a Harcourt Printing/impressions of this title. At the back, with more reviews of the set of four Poppins books, is quoted a revue of the last book "Mary Poppins in the Park", dated 1952, so again we presume that the book is perhaps 1953 or a bit later?
