End papers of Modern are bright and clean with pencil inscriptions to rear free end paper, with offsetting to end papers of Soups with spotting and signs of browning to Pudding and Choice end papers. Wear to front end paper hinges of Choice and Pudding, heavier to Pudding which is delicate. Previous owner's bookplate to Choice front pastedown. Internally, firmly bound, with slight wear to hinge between leaves pp.32-33, 48-49, 64-65 of Pudding.
