In den WarenkorbSimpkin, Marshall, Hamilton, Kent & Co., London, 1914. Illustrated with b&w photographs. 6" x 8.75". 329 pp. Green cloth, top of spine chipped, ex-library with spine label, library bookplate on front pastedown, perforated library stamp in upper right corner throughout the book. Mrs. Thring was an actress who performed under the…name "Anne Caverly". This book, edited by her husband, is compiled from letters and her diary of a round the world trip that ended with her sudden death in India while her husband was out shooting. There are a few pages on fishing in Maine, and unsuccessful hunts for grouse and deer in the U.S. In India there are mention of Mr. Thring's attempts at tiger hunting with elephants, without much detail. He eventually shot tiger, leopard, sambur and duck, and Mrs. Thring did some trout fishing in New Zealand. Very good ex-library.
