Buch
Soft cover. Zustand: Very Good. Michael O'Brien & Randal Ford (illustrator). One in a series of publications created by the design firm of Pentagram. This one is Pentagram Papers 39, and is titled "SIGNS". A collection of photographs of the homeless and the handwritten signs they show to elicit handouts from the public. Most of the photos are sepia-toned (some are in color and some b/w) and for the most part only one appears on each page. A foreword by John Ely - who himself was homeless and who collected the signs that appear in this booklet. He found them during his travels over the years. The signs were photographed by Randal Ford. The portraits of the homeless were photographed by Michael O'Brien. "Pentagram Papers will publish examples of curious, entertaining, stimulating, provocative and occasionally controversial points of view that have come to the attention of, or in some cases are actually originated by, Pentagram." Not dated, but probably published around 2005. Measures 8.25" x 6" with approx. 70 pages. In generally excellent condition with no marks of any kind, other than a slight nick on the front cover near the spine. We also have other Pentagram publications. SALE PRICE.
