Hard back binding in publisher's original blue cloth covers, worn away title and author lettering to the spine and to the upper panel, all page edges gilt. Square 12mo 5½'' x 4½''. Contains [vii] 208 [viii] printed pages of text with colour frontispiece by Joseph Martin Kronheim and six monochrome engravings. Soiling to the covers, finger marks to the edges of the early pages, staining to the edges of the colour frontispiece, ink message dated 1861 inside. Member of the P.B.F.A. LAKE DISTRICT.
