Parry and published around 1899 by Ernest Nister, featuring illustrations by G.C. Glover. The story focuses on British light cavalry and is known for its blue pictorial cloth binding and chromolithograph illustrations. The distinctive blue fabric of the covers is not as worn as you might expect, with the bulk of the colour fading being on the spine, and the worst of the wear being on the corners and the top and bottom of the spine.
