Leather. Zustand: Fair. No Jacket. This copy has been repaired with a newer leather covering the spine section. Origianl leather of the boards is worn with rubbing and scratches. Severe corner bumping and edge wear with board showing. There is faded writing and notations, ownership markings/dates on all endpapers. Text has quite… yellowed with age, early foxing and possible spill marks. First few signatures have loosened slightly, still tight in binding but the edges are now worn from shifting. You can still feel the 'bite' of the type in the paper. Interesting selection of writings used to instruct in schools. Size: 12mo - over 6¾" - 7¾" tall.
