Detailed morphological study of 78 specimens mainly collected from the Himalayan Hill Foot Hills and plains constitute the bulk of this book. Twenty type/authentic collections of different species were also obtained from different foreign herbaria for comparison with our own specimens. Photographs of most of these specimens their notations as well as labels have been included in appendix. They are very important from the point of view of taxonomy.
