Boards have been moderately rub worn. Noticeable shelf wear to corners, spine and edges. Corners are bumped and a little frayed Spine ends are crushed, with noticeable splits and chips. Moderate tanning to spine and edges. Boards are notably bowed. Book has a prominent forward lean. Moderate water marks to boards and spine.

Simpson, The Kings Regiment, Rangoon, inside the front of the book and a loosely inserted piece of headed notepaper for 1st Battn. The Kings Regiment on which he has written various orders by Rear Guard. the book also has some pencil lining and notes throughout, presumably by G. H. Simpson. Paper is slightly age toned. Publishers red cloth slightly wrinkled and generally darkened and marked. Still a good solid copy.
