LP 30 cm. Farbig illustriertes OCover. Das relativ dünne Cover beim Einschub etwas angeknittert, insgesamt aber noch sehr gut. Platte fast tadellos (wenige kaum hörbare Haarlinien). Erstpressung. Mit "Beyond the blue Horizon", "You must have been a beautiful Baby", "Oh, what a beautiful Mornin'", "What a diff'rence a Day made", "Rosalie", "I found a million Dollar Baby" u.a. Conniff (1916-2002), Komponist, Arrangeur, Orchesterleiter und Posaunist gilt als der Vater des "Easy Listening". Er spielte zunächst in Ensembles von Bunny Berigan, Bob Crosby, Artie Shaw etc. und als Arrangeur und Studio-Musiker bevor er sein eigenes Orchester gründete. Der Jazztrompeter Butterfield (1917-1988) arbeitete ebenfalls bei Artie Shaw, wo er Conniff erstmals begegnete, aber auch für Benny Goodman, Les Brown und Bob Crosby u.a. Seit Conniffs erster eigener LP 1956 arbeiteten beide immer wieder zusammen und Butterfield war maßgeblich an den Erfolgen des Orchesters beteiligt.
