Text section from pages 193 through 273 totally seperated. Not individually seperated, entire block is loose, but is not missing any pages. Top page edges dusty, front page edges deckled. Someone has printed, Barnes, Albert in the top right corner of the front cover. The spine is missing in spots but the stitching of the signatures is still secure. For what is essentially an ephemeral publication, this is in reasonable condition. ; Barnes was awell-known Presbyterian minister. This sermon was preached in Worcester, Massachusetts. Fine condition throughout and with Berwick's manuscript Index dated May 9th 1860. The first map is: "Palestine in the time of our Saviour" (12in. by 8in.) and finely printed by London publisher Blackie (the same publisher of Barnes' Notes, in England). Another map illustrates the "Voyages and Travels of St. Paul" and another: "Northern Italy, the Scenes of the Devastations of Attila. or the Third Trumpet and Third Vial". There is a map of Candia (Crete) and 8 others; a plan of Jerusalem along with 10 others; and 53 engraved scenes of Greece, Italy and the Middle East. All in Fine condition throughout.
