Half-Leather. Zustand: With All Faults (W.A.F.). Zustand des Schutzumschlags: No Dustjacket. First Edition. xxv + 256 pages. Half-leather. Green boards are both OFF/detached, 65% spine leather rubbed off from top, library number to bottom in gilt. Corner leather has gone, boards are much rubbed & bronzed. Library label pasted to inner front board, from reference library in 1880's, last lent 1920. Flyleaf torn vertically in half. Page-edges darkened with one blotch. Text has nicks out of two margins, every page has some blotching of finger-marks. A few with pencil lines to margins or a little underlining, overall not particularly clean. Book block binding feels sound. Needs repair.

Shows the spine lightly toned, the front blank neatly removed, slight thumbing of the corners, otherwise the binding is strong and tight, the text is clean and unmarked, and the boards remain distinct. As pictured.
