Hardcover. Zustand: Near Fine. Zustand des Schutzumschlags: Very Good. 1st Edition. First Edition (NAP). Once listed, this will be the Only copy of this book for sale anywhere on the Internet. It is signed and inscribed as follows: 'To Walter Blum, Long time friend and mentor. With best wishes, Rick Tessler.' As you can see from the photos, the covers are in excellent condition. I think they are a faux leather. They are in nearly perfect condition, there is a slight bit of rubbing below the bottom edge of the spine, only visible from below. Otherwise the edges look perfect. Same with the corners. Same with the spine ends. The gilt lettering on the spine is quite bright. There is a little bit of dust staining on the middle page edge, but it doesn't carry over to the actual pages. These pages appear to be exceptionally clean. I'm scrolling through without seeing any soiling. They also appear to be in excellent condition. I'm not seeing any creasing. There are no markings No attachments of any kind (NOT ex-library). And with the exception of the co-author's signed inscription, no one has written their name or anything else anywhere in the book. The dust jacket is in very solid condition. It's quite clean. The spine is faded from red to pink. There is a little bit of rubbing at the spine ends and at a couple of the corners. The flaps are in excellent condition, no soiling, no wear. The jacket is not priced or clipped. It will be fitted with a protective cover after the photos are scanned. 'The Community Support Program (CSP), sponsored by the National Institute of Mental Health, evolved as a federal response to the challenges posed by the deinstitutionalization of the chronically mentally ill. This book offers the first assessment of the program's early successes, its shortcomings, and its prospects for the future.'. Inscribed by Author(s).
