Hardcover. Zustand: Very Good. No Jacket. 1st Edition. A volume of the Minerva Poets, in the Red Letter Library. With and Introduction by The Right Reverend William Boyd Carpenter, Bishop of Ripon. Grey, pictorially designed cloth. Gilt top edge. Pictorial endpapers. Printed in black with headlines in red throughout. A volume of the Minerva poets. Rubbing and wear, with a small black stain on front board. Corners turned a bit. Frontispiece has become separated and is now laid in. A church insert from the "Woodlands Church" laid in has made an outline stain on pp. 210-211. Spine and hinges are tight and straight with no breaks. Overall a very attractive example of this scarce collection of Whittier's poetry from 1905.
