Gabler calls it " a significant literary account of the beginning of the Napa Valley Wine industry," and quotes Stevenson's " the smack of California earth shall linger in the palate of your grandson." Scarce paper dust jacket has slight stains and great damage to the spine and is now in a clear protective sleeve but has done its job and protected the book which is in mint condition.…
