FOR 039285 Selections from the works of these two French philosophers is part of a series of French literature, Les Grands Classiques Illustres. The volume is undated, as far as I could tell, but has a price of 20 Francs on the back cover. I would guess early to middle twentieth century. The tan card stock covers are soiled and darkened on spine and there is chipping and wear but the volume is holding together. Inside is clean and all pages present.

Zustand: Good. 1946. Reprinted. 188 pages. Brown dust jacket over blue cloth boards with lettering. Textblock is in English and French. Pages and binding are presentable with no major defects. Minor issues present such as mild cracking, inscriptions, inserts, light foxing, tanning and thumb marking. Boards have mild shelf wear with light rubbing and corner bumping. Some light marking and sunning. Lettering is clear. Clipped jacket has moderate edge wear with tears, chips, and some areas of loss. Noticeable rubbing and marking. Tanning to jacket.
