A gentleman named Mr. Merriman is strolling through Mayfair in London, stops by a Second Hand Book Shop, purchases a title, and discovers within the book the seeds of a murder plot all within a feuding family. Listed in Penzler's Bibliomysteries, pages 124-5. Some light soiling to the jacket and some rubbing to the spine. Near Fine / Very Good.
