Hardcover. Zustand: Very Good. New edition. A new edition of the third title in the "Stull-Hatch Geographies" series. The "Europe Overseas" part of the title refers largely to the far flung British Commonwealth countries of Canada, Australia and Africa. Profusely illustrated throughout with black & white photographs. Edges are thumbed and browned, map endpapers slightly spotted, binding is a tad loose, but a pretty good copy.

Handwritten ink correction to misspelling on page vi; tipped-in correction slip at page 12's bottom margin with some associated glue toning/staining; otherwise minor soiling to interior leaves with small chip at page 23's bottom right. Some rust to staples but binding remains firm. Compiled as a basis for a June 14th to September 12th, 1952 exhibition (and catalog of the exhibit) of Waterville imprints at Colby College Library; catalog lists ninety items published between 1822-1850.
