Hardcover. Zustand: Poor. Hardcover. Marbled paper over boards with brown cloth over spine. Remnants of cloth at corners, where boards are exposed. Clear tape over spine with handwritten label. Front and rear gutters are also taped, which seems to be the only thing holding covers and spine to text block. A handsome bookplate on front attached endpaper ("Ex Libris Abraham A. Neuman") -- which we'd like to think may have belonged to Jewish artist Abraham Neumann, but without much of evidence of its provenance, it seems likely to be a coincidence. Title page dated 1866. Pages are foxed, with some creasing to corners, but still in relatively good reading condition. Collection of sermons in German, with some scatted Hebrew throughout.
