(Tom Stewart- born Jan. 1892- Died Oct. 1972). Stewart was earlier 18th Circuit district attorney and was the lead procecutor in the 1925 Scopes Monkey Trial. Stewart helped present case against John Scopes for teaching Darwin's theory of evolution in high school. Stewart's role in trial was overshadowed by the presence of William Jennings Bryan and Clarence Darrow. Scarce signature. SIGNED.…
