Critical Classical Armenian text; with modern Eastern Armenian translation (Classical orthography), and the study of M. Abeghyan on Saint Mesrop and the Armenian alphabet. 'Koryun wrote his book on the instructions of Joseph the Catholicos. The full title reads like this: "Leave history and let the blessed Saint Mashtots, our translator, die." The fact that there is no mention or allusion to 450-451 in Koryun's book gave the basis for determining the date of the inscription. About the War of Vardanants, and Vasak Syun, whom Yeghishe gives the unequivocal qualification of a traitor, is presented in positive colors. The biography has been preserved in two editions: extensive and brief. It is likely that the extensive one belongs to Koryun's pen, and the brief one is a later, modified version in the VI-IX centuries, made mainly under the influence of Movses Khorenatsi's "History of Armenians". As an author, he participated in the works of Mesrop Mashtots and Sahak Partev as a satellite. In the introduction, Koryun is concerned with the following question: Is it possible to write the behavior of perfect people? The answer is brief. the conduct of perfect men should be written down to serve as an example to posterity.'.
