W. Seyfried (1755-1800), mit Goethe befreundeter Schauspieler, Prinzipal einer Liebhaberbühne in Frankfurt, Autor mehrerer Bühnenstücke, Gedichte u. Essays über das Theater, schildert in Briefform den Eindruck, den die Vorstellungen der Großmann-Hellmuth'schen Gesellschaft bei drei jeweils unterschiedlich alten und sehr verschieden gebildeten Personen hinterlassen (drei Damen und drei Herren). Im Anhang ein Verzeichnis des Repertoires der Theatergruppe zur Herbstmesse 1780, ein Schauspielerverzeichnis und zwei fiktive Briefe einer Person aus der Dramaturgie, die hier vom Hessischen ins Hochdeutsche übersetzt wurden.
