Based on Julian Symons' 1967 novel "The Man Who Killed Himself." An unsuccessful inventor creates a fearless, womanizing alter ego for himself. OCLC locates no holdings. AMPAS shows no holdings. Shot on location in London. Blue titled wrappers. Title page present, undated, with credits for screenwriters Julian Symons, Beverley Cross, John Esmonde, and Bob Larbey. 152 leaves, with last page of text numbered 142. Xerographic duplication, rectos only, with blue and pink revision pages laid in throughout, dated 29.4.69. Pages and wrapper Very Good plus, with light rust near the binding, bound with a silver prong.

Early Draft script for the 1987 film, preceding its release by 2 years. An internally duplicated copy made during production, with copied punch holes and copied annotations on the title page, noting "Complete Shooting Script / Unmarked." A cult classic slasher about a demented, image-conscious man who, in an attempt to find the perfect family, marries into broken families, becomes disappointed with the results, murders the family, and moves on to the next one. Set in Seattle, shot on location in Vancouver. Generic white ITC Productions wrappers, with a die-cut title window in the British style. Title page present, dated October 15, 1985, noted as Draft, with credits for screenwriter Donald Westlake and uncredited screenwriter David Loughery. 119 leaves, with last page of text numbered 107. Xerographic duplication, rectos only. Pages Very Good plus, wrapper Very Good plus, with moderate foxing on the verso of the last leaf and the wrapper versos, bound internally with two gold brads.
