(Arcadia, California), 8 1/2 x 11 inches tall x 1 1/2 inches thick paperbound in brown printed covers, unpaginated but approx. 300 pp., with many folding diagrams and figures. Covers stained, rubbed, creased and edgeworn. Contents, apart from minor age toning, are in very good condition. Altogether an excellent copy of this scarce and important study report. Note that this is a heavy and oversized book, so additional postage will be required for international or priority orders. ~SP29~ Describes as of 1966 the existing sewage facilities in Orange County, California, presents projections of waste water volumes and types anticipated to be produced throughout the county over the design period of the study (1966 through 2000), evaluates the waste disposal alternatives, and develops recommended solutions, to be constructed in stages over the design period, for all populated regions of Orange County. 'The recommended program in effect comprises a comprehensive plan for meeting present and future disposal needs throughout the County.'
