Hardcover. Zustand: VG-. Used hardcover without jacket as issued inside of slip case. Slip case is in very good condition and remains structurally sound on all sides, there may be slight lightening of the box at the edges with a darker green towards the center. Text block on slip case remains a clean white with no aparent markings. Volumes itself is in very good- condition with some wear/scuffing to green cloth boards. Back cover of volume has gold gilt kanji however the spine has silver gilt kanji. Binding remains clean and strong. Inside of the front cover of volume is the business card of the President of the Dai-Ichi Bank in Tokyo who personally sent this volume to a Washingtonian during the 1900's. There is no markings to the text, however the business card is stapled to the front flyleaf.
