Slight shelf wear, and slight bumping on the corners. Some fading at the edges of the boards and on the spine. The text is toned but clean, complete and legible. A previous owner left his signature and "London, 1951" on the front endpaper, along with some writing in pencil. The gilt lettering on the spine is clean and legible. The binding is sound. This book will be of interest to anybody interested in the history of religion, the Anglican Church specifically, or the United Kingdom. It would be an excellent addition to anybody's bookshelf.
