There is a previous owner's inscription with a William Carlos Williams poem handwritten on the title page, else this is a clean, tight and unmarked book. This approximately 9 1/4 by 10 1/4 inch hard cover with white covers and black letting, in both English and Japanese, on the front cover and spine is unpaginated. However, at the top of the front flap it is stated there are 112 pages and 116 pages next to the original price of the book. Text for the book is in both English and Japanese and contains two types of paper. The text is on a dark tan brown that is similar to the color and the dust wrapper, while the black-and-white images are printed on white paper. There is one page which was not cut correctly so the fore edge corner is too long and is folded back into the book. The last portion of the book has biographical notes of the photographers and images of each. There is light edge wear to both the bottom and top board. The dust jacket is present but has several tears and chips along the edges. The dust jacket is currently protected by a clear removable cover.
