La première édition, de petit format, fut publié par Monestier à la Politique de Pékin en 1927; elle n'allait pas au-delà du XIe siècle et ne comportait que 64 pp. Cette nouvelle édition, très élargie, inclue de nombreux poètes du XIIe au XXe siècle, offrant ainsi un panorama complet de la poésie chinoise. Chaque poème comporte une introduction sous forme d'une courte note biographique sur l'auteur. Pas à la BN.

L'esprit tient dans ce mot : "la représentation d'une pièce chinoise est une sorte de danse animée de sentiments divers". Envoi manuscrit d'attribution à la mine de plomb. Usures en bordure, petite restauration et infimes taches. Livre.
